BWG Bike Helmet Donation

Smiling faces were in abundance when BikeWalk Glastonbury presented bike helmets to about 20 youngsters at the Welles Village Community Center this week. Every child left with a helmet in his or her choice of color. The event included a bike safety talk by a Glastonbury police officer and individual helmet fitting by Bicycles East. Youth and Family Services hosted the event at their after-school program.
I have had success with giving my own children’s bicycles to new owners by leveraging Craigslist.

Do you accept bike donations? If not, who does in Glastonbury? We have two child bikes, not in perfect condition but certainly usable. Thanks
