Smiling faces were in abundance when BikeWalk Glastonbury presented bike helmets to about 20 youngsters at the Welles Village Community Center this week. Every child left with a helmet in his or her choice of color. The event included a bike safety talk by a Glastonbury police officer and individual helmet fitting by Bicycles East. Youth and Family Services hosted the event at their after-school program.
