I was very pleased to see in the March 2019 minutes that the House St Ext will be constructed soon in June/July. I work in Salmon Brook park and there is no safe way to cross Hebron Ave and Rt 2, so biking to town from work these past 14 years have not been an option. Driving is the only safe option. I have walked through the woods to House St but in summer the tall grass makes it difficult. I will be excited to use the path and let my coworkers at GEI Consultants know about it!

Please reach out to businesses on Winding Brook Drive when the bike path opens to let us know it is open for use!

Brian — we are definitely planning to engage the business community as the trail construction nears completion, not only for an opening event, but then also afterwards to encourage trail usage. Stay tuned on Facebook or here on the website for updates over the course of the summer.
